The Mindful Revolution – A Revolving Meditation Class Series


These ongoing classes focus on transformative themes, self-care, and inner exploration in an empowering environment where you can prioritize your personal growth. Each topic can be explored and experienced over multiple sessions, enhancing self-understanding in a small, supportive setting. Our goal is to cultivate an intimate but inclusive mindfulness community where participants feel at ease discussing and sharing their experiences, acknowledging the impact of awareness on emotional well-being and the collective benefit for everyone in their lives

Our series delves into essential aspects of self-discovery and transformation under the guidance of Jeffrey Mince. With over 30 years of experience as a teacher and practitioner, Jeffrey, a former Buddhist Monk, is a fully certified ICF ACC Coach specializing in grief, trauma, loss, end-of-life, and addiction. Jeff takes a practical, compassionate approach to mindfulness psychology and wellness meditation practices.

Class themes:
 

  • Mindfulness Meditation: Cultivating awareness of the present moment without judgment is a fundamental life-affirming practice that will help you become more attuned to your thoughts, emotions, and sensations.

  • Emotional Well-being: Exploring emotions and how to work with them skillfully. Classes cover topics like dealing with difficult emotions, cultivating positive emotions, and fostering emotional resilience.

  • Stress Reduction: Techniques for managing stress and anxiety through meditation. This might include deep breathing, body scans, and visualization to promote relaxation and calmness.

  • Self-Compassion and Acceptance: Many people struggle with self-criticism and negative self-talk. Classes focused on self-compassion and acceptance use meditation to cultivate kindness and understanding toward oneself.

  • Healing and Renewal: Meditation can also be used as a tool for healing and renewal, whether it's physical, emotional, or spiritual. Classes will focus on practices aimed at promoting healing, relaxation, and inner peace.

  • Mind-Body Connection: This topic explores the connection between the mind & the body, emphasizing practices that promote holistic health and well-being fostering a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of mind & body. Classes will incorporate meditation techniques that encourage participants to cultivate awareness of bodily sensations as well as body-centered meditations aimed at reducing physical tension & promoting relaxation.
     

Limited to 10 participants for an immersive community experience and personalized guidance.

Registration is requested 7 hours before the class begins. 
Cost is $35 per class.

The Pilates Story Mindfulness community is a recent addition to our studio offerings, expanding our holistic well-being program with mindfulness practices. Our instructors, deeply experienced in meditation and mindfulness, also specialize in areas such as grief, trauma, loss, end-of-life, and addiction. We aim to foster an environment where personal growth is emphasized, promoting genuine transformation, self-care, and inner exploration. Within this supportive setting, you'll have the opportunity to cultivate better self-understanding and heightened awareness of emotional well-being. Our goal is to establish an inclusive community where everyone feels at ease sharing their experiences, recognizing the impact of mindfulness practices on their overall well-being, and ultimately how self-care and mindfulness benefit everyone involved in their lives.
